This project is an original Mappin Made build — concept to completion on a whole other level. Not only did the design and hand-worked construction come entirely from within the company, but the timber used throughout — both structurally and aesthetically — was sourced directly from the studio's exact footprint, milled on-site, and worked by hand.

The first of Mappin Made's self-contained studio dwellings, this has been a prototype for exploration and the foundation of a future blueprint offering.
